Playful RFID
For this terms major project we have to decide upon a brief from the Touch project , and by now this is my favorite. Because it has endless opportunities hidden.
But nothing is decided yet.
The brief is taken from www.nearfield.org
RFID has the potential to enable new kinds of playful interactions in toys and consumer electronics. There are three features that make this interesting: passive RFID tags don’t require batteries, offer wireless communication and a scheme for identifying physical objects.
A new year new possibilities…
As of now I am going to be an very intens blogger. The term has strated in an typically stressfull way, but I am really looking forward to this semester.
It will be greate to learn something completaly different, and already there is challenges ahead. This week we are going to make a simpel RFID interaction, whit a “fixed reader”,
FanFan and I where teamed up, but now we also have BO on the Team.
The concept this morning was to make threev squares, like a big dices whith tags on each side. One dice with animals, one dice with environments, and one dice with weather.
But After a little session with Einar, we have to rethink the interaction.
And here is where we are at the moment.
The clock is ticking………
